The existing waterproofing had to be stripped, damaged or rotten boards had to be removed where necessary, and the surface had to be prepared correctly before the new waterproofing system could be installed. The solution combined:

Before the new waterproofing system could be installed, the team cleaned down the area and stripped the existing waterproofing. This step was necessary because new waterproofing should not be installed over failed layers, trapped moisture, rotten boards, or unstable surfaces.
